In response to market demand, BOC has produced two practical-based safety training workshops for users of compressed gases. These workshops are essential for all managers, supervisors, inspectors and personnel who work with gases and oxygen-fuel equipment. These workshops are also a must for those who help shape safety policy within their organisation.

Gases Safety Awareness with Practical Cylinder Set-up	This workshop is designed for anyone involved in either the use, handling, storage, or transportation of compressed gases or cryogenic liquids. Oxy Fuel Gases: Safety Awareness with Practical Equipment Set-up and Inspection	This workshop is designed for anyone involved in the use of Oxy-fuel gas work stations and includes practical inspection procedures in accordance with BCGA code of Practice 7. Refrigerant Courses

CARE Hydrocarbons Refrigerants Training	The aim of the CARE sessions is to train engineers in the handling of hydrocarbons as refrigerants. Adherence to the guidelines will ensure that the CARE refrigerants are used safely and that systems using them operate with optimum performance. Training is mandatory for the purchase of CARE products.	3 Hours	27KB
City & Guilds 2078 Refrigerant Handling	This is a practical skills test coupled with oral questioning to check underpinning knowledge. The candidate charges and recovers refrigerant and answers questions on topics such as safety and environmental issues and legislation, reducing leakage, installation processing and system operation. The assessment covers CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, HCs and blends of these substances.	Full Day	27 KB
BRA Brazing Assessment	For experienced engineers, an assessment of brazing to the British Refrigeration Association’s Brazer scheme standard. Valid for 3 years.	Full Day	27 KB
Safe Handling of R-744 (Refrigerant Grade CO₂	R744 as a refrigerant and the hazards and risks associated with this product in gaseous and liquid form.	3 Hours	27 KB
