Training is mandatory for the purchase of CARE products. |

| City & Guilds 2078 Refrigerant Handling |
|
This is a practical skills test coupled with oral questioning to check underpinning knowledge. The candidate charges and recovers refrigerant and answers questions on topics such as safety and environmental issues and legislation, reducing leakage, installation processing and system operation. The assessment covers CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, HCs and blends of these substances. |

For experienced engineers, an assessment of brazing to the British Refrigeration Association’s Brazer scheme standard. Valid for 3 years. |

| Safe Handling of R-744 (Refrigerant Grade CO2 |

R744 as a refrigerant and the hazards and risks associated with this product in gaseous and liquid form. |
